129 Wellington Street is a mixed use building on a landmark site located at the junction of Princess Highway and Chapel Street in Windsor.
Our design response provides a crucial step in the transformation of the precinct and its urban development. Highly articulated podium architecture engages with its surrounding context and the public realm. The project houses a commercial space and apartments plus underground car parking.
Environmental features of the building include high performance building systems, energy efficiency, water conversation and reuse, indoor environmental quality management, recycling and waste management, and sustainable sourcing and use of materials. In addition, glare and reflective double glazed vision panels to north, east and south facades and sun shading to the north façade, and articulated thermal panels incorporated in west and south facades to reduce building heat loads.
