IMAJNE Group developed this project filling a void in the bustling McKinnon Village with an infill mix-use development, activating the streetscape and encouraging growth in an emerging activities precinct.
144 McKinnon Road comprises 2 retail spaces at ground floor level, and 14 architecturally designed one and two bed room apartments above, The property is nestled directly in the heart of the McKinnon village. Considered proportions, light-filled uplifting spaces and open plan, flexible living, were all key focuses when designing this building.
An array of environmentally sustainable features include a large open void directly through the building providing abundant natural light and fresh air, concrete thermal mass insulation, rain water harvesting, energy efficient low-flow fittings, fixtures and appliances, bicycle and recycling store, and more.
